Forsyth Commission Rejects Panel ot Study Immigration Costs (WGHP Greensboro)
WINSTONSALEM, N.C. (AP) Forsyth Conuty Commission has turned down a proposal to creatge a committee to calcualte how much illegal immigrants cost the county. Commissioner Beaufort Bailey wanted a 13member group to spend a year on the effort. The idea was rejected on a 43 vote during the commissioners briefing session Thursday. Read more
